The greater Woodburn area offers many interesting and entertaining activities to take part in. Experience the great beauty of nature by visiting the Adelman Peony Gardens, the Bauman Farms, the Oregon Garden at Silverton, the Heirloom Rose Gardens, Frey’s Dahlias, the Silver Falls State Park, and Rosse Posse Acres.
Take in local events such as the Woodburn Tulip Festival. Enjoy a baseball game at Volcanoes Baseball Stadium in Salem-Keizer, a local class A short season affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Visitors can also enjoy racing events at the Woodburn Drag Strip or listen to famous musicians as they perform at the Oregon State Fairgrounds.
Take some time to grow in knowledge by visiting the famous Spruce Goose at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. See some of the great working vehicles that developed the Pacific Northwest at the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum or look for antiques at the Aurora Antique Capitol.
We are located 15 miles from Salem (the state capital, shopping, the riverfront featuring Salem’s locally handcrafted carousel) and only 30 miles south of Portland (home of the Rose Festival, the Trailblazers, Oregon Convention Center, OMSI, Portland Zoo, the Rose Garden, and many art museums and galleries). Yet we are still close enough to enjoy skiing on Mt. Hood, exploring the Oregon Coast, or hiking and windsurfing the Columbia River Gorge.
